Prior to joining our firm, Ted worked as a trial attorney for the Prosecuting Attorney’s office, for his own firm, and most recently a large, regional law firm, where he represented clients in a wide range of matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and commercial disputes. He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict, earning a reputation as a fierce and effective advocate for his clients.

Ted’s interest in business and his ability to advocate and reason led him to become a lawyer. With experience as a business owner himself, he intimately understands the challenges that small business owners face. Ted takes the time to listen to his clients’ concerns and issues, and works with them to find the best path forward. He is dedicated to providing his clients with real-world solutions that help scale and protect their businesses.

Ted is a highly educated attorney who earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Charlotte School of Law. During his time there, Ted was a distinguished student, serving as a member of the Access to Justice Law Journal, where he honed his skills in legal research and writing. He was also selected to work as a Constitutional Law Teaching Assistant, where he demonstrated his ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.

As a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, Ted had the opportunity to compete in a variety of advocacy competitions, where he sharpened his skills in legal argumentation and oral advocacy. Additionally, Ted was selected to participate in the Community Economic Development Law Clinic, where he gained hands-on experience in counseling small business owners on a variety of legal matters.

Prior to earning his law degree, Ted earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Music Performance. His diverse educational background enables him to communicate effectively with a broad range of clients and colleagues, and to bring a unique perspective to his legal practice. Ted’s strong educational foundation and commitment to continued learning have made him a highly skilled and effective advocate for his clients.
