Who is Lori DaCosse?
Lori DaCosse has more than 16 years of legal experience with a focused practice in the areas of real estate, finance and corporate law, and she is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, and California. Lori brings a progressive, solutions-driven practice philosophy to meet each client’s legal needs.
Lori’s concentration in real estate law spans all areas of the commercial and residential practice including sales, acquisition, leasing, financing, development, and title review. Likewise, she has a core competency in corporate structuring and financial strategies catering to the start-up investor and small business person. Lori regularly advises investors, developers, trade organizations, and brokers with respect to out-of-the-box solutions on issues from corporate structure to daily operations.
Prior to her affiliation with our Firm, Lori worked for a regional firm as Counsel where she represented the local board of REALTORS® through all phases of not-for-profit governance. Additionally, she represented small business owners in asset and stock purchase agreements and various financing issues and advised real estate developers and investors in all components of real estate development including acquisition negotiation, due diligence (including title examination), and municipal negotiation. Her experience further entails syndication representation.
Outside of the office, Lori devotes herself to a beautiful family and practices a healthy lifestyle that includes yoga and running. She remains curious about the world and is an avid reader. Core to her legal practice and her personal philosophy is that business success arises where passion intersects purpose.
Lori is currently licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and California.
