Who is Rachael Luxenberg?

Rachael Luxenberg is a general corporate, entertainment, venture and intellectual property (IP) attorney.  She has over 18 years of experience working in publicity, marketing, and entertainment law for companies such as CBS, MIRAMAX, and Apple, and has runs her own firm for IP law and PR consultancy in Tampa, Florida.  Rachael has in-depth knowledge of the film business and has negotiated complex talent and licensing agreements for domestic and international media.   She regularly supports companies seeking trademark advice and protection.  And supports M&A practice of AEGIS Law.  She is licensed to practice law in California.

Rachael’s greatest strengths are her attention to detail, empathetic nature, and positivity in the face of adversity. Her passion for helping her clients realize their dreams, ideas, and potential drives her to search for creative solutions. Rachael works best with clients who share an enthusiasm for what they do, and loves to see dedicated business owners succeed. She also has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, redlining, researching, and counseling all manner of legal needs, including IP and entertainment transactional practices. These skills have served her well as a sole-practitioner, where she managed national licensing rights and created brand identities for artists, ideated PR plans for musicians, and organized sponsored art shows. Whatever her clients’ needs, Rachael is committed to using creative strategies that help her clients thrive.
Rachael received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine School of Law, where she specialized in Intellectual Property Law and was vice president of the Entertainment Law Society. She created and coordinated the school’s annual Entertainment Law Symposium to connect students with entertainment law practitioners. Rachael also has a bachelor of arts in English literature and film, with a minor in mass communication. She speaks French and Hebrew, and is involved with Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of American, and the Step Up Women’s Network.
