Nick Schopp is a veteran attorney with a focus on representing privately-owned businesses as outside general counsel. Nick began his legal career in the St. Louis County Counselor’s Office, serving as a prosecutor and associate counsel to St. Louis County. What distinguishes Nick in the marketplace is his dual credential as an attorney and a tax specialist, holding a separate Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M.).

He is an author whose work has appeared in the Journal of the Missouri Bar. A St. Louis native, Nick is admitted to practice in all Missouri state courts, as well as numerous federal district and bankruptcy courts.

Educational Background:
Nick received his J.D. and a Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law (UMKC) in 2001. While at UMKC, he was a member of the Law Review and the Honor Court, graduating with distinction.

Nick currently resides in Town & Country with his wife and three sons. His deep understanding of the legal challenges faced by privately-owned businesses, combined with his expertise in negotiation and financial administration, makes him a valuable asset to his clients.
