Executive Profile [−]
The Entrepreneur’s Attorney

Scott Levine seamlessly bridges the worlds of law and entrepreneurship, bringing two decades of clinical experience to his role as founder and managing partner of AEGIS Law. His journey—growing a solo practice into a national firm with nearly 40 attorneys across multiple regional hubs—provides him with a rare, first-hand understanding of the “founder’s struggle.” Scott does not merely advise on the law; he speaks the language of capital, scaling, and strategic risk.

In his clinical practice, Scott focuses on the critical mechanical elements of business growth, particularly Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Securities Compliance. He serves as Outside General Counsel for a diverse roster of clients, orchestrating comprehensive legal solutions that are distinctly practical. His approach is informed by his own experience building and scaling businesses, allowing him to identify and neutralize legal friction before it impacts the commercial bottom line.

Community Stewardship & Leadership

Scott’s leadership extends deep into the St. Louis community and beyond. As the past president of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) St. Louis chapter, he focused on strengthening the ecosystem for local business owners, driving membership growth and enhancing high-value programming. His commitment to innovation is equally visible in his religious and educational leadership; under his tenure as Board President, the Central Reform Congregation was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation’s 25 most innovative Jewish institutions.

Currently serving as the Board President of the Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, Scott guides the institution’s mission of combining academic excellence with social responsibility. His past board service includes significant contributions to Redevelopment Opportunities for Women (ROW), addressing homelessness and poverty, and Voices for Children (CASA), advocating for children in the foster care system.

Strategic Endorsements

“Scott is an entrepreneur’s entrepreneur. Add to that the fact that he’s a great lawyer… and you’ve got an invaluable asset to the innovation ecosystem. He has done a remarkable job developing a firm that can service virtually every need of early to mid-stage companies.” — Chris Miller, The Mission Center L3C

“Scott genuinely cares about his clients, their situations, and their businesses. He is a very creative, strategic mind, but his authentic appreciation for his clients deserves notice.” — Eliot Frick, bigwidesky
