William Higley is a highly experienced attorney with over thirty years of practice in corporate and family estate planning law. His career is distinguished by a decade-long tenure within the law department of Monsanto, where he managed complex multi-district environmental insurance coverage litigation and directed Superfund remediation projects across more than 130 state and federal sites—exposure levels significant enough to be reportable in annual reports to shareholders.
At Monsanto, Bill navigated the intricacies of regulatory matters, permits, and enforcement actions across all environmental media, including OSHA, Industrial Hygiene, and internal compliance audits. Following his transition in 1995, he focused his practice on the mechanical execution of estate planning, business, and commercial corporate organizations.
His academic foundation includes a law degree from St. Louis University School of Law (1977) and a Masters Degree in International Business from the Boeing Institute of International Business. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois, including the United States Supreme Court and Tax Court.
