Max serves as a council member of the State Bar of Texas International Law Section and as the Managing Editor of the Global Law Review. A first-generation American, Max serves his country as a Lieutenant in the United States Coast Guard. This commitment to veteran leadership extends to his legal career, including pro bono legal work for military personnel and active involvement with causes such as the Irreverent Warriors, Lone Survivor Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and RAINN.

Max holds a J.D., cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law, where he served as Senior Note & Comment Editor of the Business Law Review. He began his academic journey with a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder.

When not providing senior-led counsel, Max enjoys weight training, scuba diving, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns. A serious history enthusiast, he is currently immersed in Winston Churchill’s personal accounts of World War I and II.
