Michael Cherba is an accomplished trial lawyer with over two decades of high-performance experience navigating sophisticated legal disputes in state, federal, and administrative courts. His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial litigation, including regulatory scrutiny, professional licensing defense, and high-stakes fiduciary matters. Michael is known for his calm, strategic approach, earning a reputation for integrity and practical problem-solving.
Before joining AEGIS Law, Michael served as an Assistant Missouri Attorney General, where he represented the state in administrative and civil matters. This role provided him with firsthand insight into how government agencies operate and make decisions—intelligence he now leverages to protect his clients. His professional background also includes executive-level experience at the White House and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, where he focused on executive decision-making and policy.
Proven Courtroom Success
Over the course of his career, Michael has tried numerous cases to verdict and argued appeals before Missouri’s appellate courts, resulting in three published decisions. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and is admitted to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and multiple U.S. District Courts. His ability to balance technical mastery with human understanding ensures that every legal strategy is anchored by the commercial and personal goals of his clients.
