“Scott is a thoughtful attorney, which is saying a lot. A good attorney will be knowledgeable, methodical, and disciplined, but Scott is also thoughtful in another, more profound way. Scott genuinely cares about his clients, their situations, and their businesses. Scott is certainly a very creative, strategic mind, just as others have indicated, but his authentic appreciation for his clients deserves notice.” – Eliot Frick, bigwidesky
“Scott provides high level, creative and inventive legal support. He has performed at a very high level and I recommend Scott to anyone who needs legal, consulting or business planning services.” – Dan Gabriel, GlobalSource IT

On both levels, Scott is nothing short of outstanding…..he always puts the customer first, outstanding attention to detail, and follow up, and always in a positive and can do attitude and approach…..and focused on solutions to make things better tomorrow than they are today.” – Randy Baker, Schaeffer Manufacturing
“Scott amazed me from the first time we met! He taught me so much and expanded my experience in the business world while I was Managing Director of my family run company. Scott is an extremely generous and sincere man. (How often can you actually say that about an attorney? 🙂 He turns clients into friends, as he has with me because of his compassion & patience and his willingness to give first. He’s brilliantly creative and always always always gives more value than you would ever predict.” – Aprille Trupiano, Aprille International Enterprises
“Scott and his colleagues at Aegis have helped us with multiple corporate documents, including LLC revisions and independent contractor agreements. We particularly appreciate the counsel they provided during that work, going beyond the nuts and bolts to help us identify and reach our business objectives. I’m glad to recommend them.” – Jerry Bryan, Bryan Consulting Inc.
“Succinctly put, Scott is an entrepreneur’s entrepreneur. Add to that the fact that he’s a great lawyer (in the best possible sense of the word) and you’ve got an invaluable asset to the innovation ecosystem of our region. He has done a remarkable job in developing a firm that can service virtually every need of early to mid-stage companies from business planning, capital sourcing, deal making, deal closing…and everything in between. Moreover, his commitment to the nonprofit sector through AEGIS’ Stetin Center further differentiates his firm as being one of the best resources for entrepreneurs–commercial or social–in the St. Louis region and beyond.” – Chris Miller, The Mission Center L3C
