Krzysztof Dzik has over a decade of corporate counsel experience. Licensed to practice in Illinois, Krzysztof has represented business clients with annual revenues ranging from $100K to $20M. His expertise extends to matters related to contract negotiations, corporate governance and compliance, commercial transactions, employment, healthcare, real estate, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, transportation law and compliance, and ethics.
Krzysztof is also one of the few attorneys on the cutting edge of cryptocurrency law. He is well-versed in the legal, tax, data privacy, regulatory, and intellectual property issues related to cryptocurrencies and has advised clients on the application of cryptocurrency law in their businesses.
Because Krzysztof’s clients care so deeply about the work they do, he cares deeply about using his legal skills to protect their businesses and livelihoods. Before joining Aegis, Krzysztof served as legal counsel at Wahbeh Law, where he helped start-ups and established companies in matters at all stages of the business life cycle.
Krzysztof also thrives under pressure. This is a fitting attribute considering his experience at Chicago Intermodal Transportation (CIT), a transportation company with over 90 drivers on the road transporting freight up to 300 miles. At CIT, Krzysztof worked as the Safety Compliance Director and General Counsel, where he provided key legal advice to the company’s executive team, managed risks and employee matters, instituted company-wide policies, and ensured CIT’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. No matter the issue, Krzysztof ensured that his clients thrived by providing well-researched legal strategies and actionable advice.
