Marshall Kobrin is an attorney whose practice focuses mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and intellectual property. Marshall’s areas of practice include entity choice and formation, operating and shareholders agreements, employment agreements and other corporate agreements, and the purchase and sale of businesses. He also handles trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Marshall is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Sports Lawyers Association, [and is admitted to practice in Florida’s state and federal courts.]
Marshall earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Central Florida in 2014. During his time there, he also completed minors in general business, sports business management, and legal studies, and was recognized on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.
He went on to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude in 2017 with a certificate in intellectual property. While in law school, Marshall served as senior notes editor for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and received Outstanding Achievement Certificates for his pro bono and community service efforts.
Prior to entering private practice, Marshall gained experience in the legal field through internships and externships. He served as a judicial intern for the Florida First District Court of Appeal in 2016 and as a judicial extern for the Florida Ninth Judicial Circuit Court in 2015.
In addition to his legal work, Marshall has a passion for sports. He has coached baseball, served as a student equipment manager for the University of Central Florida football team, and was appointed to the University of Florida Intercollegiate Athletic Committee.”
