Scott seamlessly bridges the worlds of law and entrepreneurship, bringing two decades of experience to his role as founder and managing partner of AEGIS Law. What began as a solo practice has grown into a national firm with nearly 40 attorneys across multiple cities – a journey that gives Scott unique insight into the challenges and aspirations of the entrepreneurs he serves.

As a practicing attorney, Scott focuses on the crucial elements of business growth, particularly mergers and acquisitions and securities compliance. He often serves as outside general counsel, orchestrating comprehensive legal solutions for his clients’ diverse needs. His approach is distinctly practical, informed by his own experience building and scaling businesses.

Beyond AEGIS Law, Scott co-founded iSelect Fund (www.iSelectFund.com), an innovative venture capital fund that connects promising companies with strategic investors. This venture showcases his commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth beyond traditional legal services.

Scott’s leadership extends deep into the St. Louis community. He is the past president of both the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) St. Louis chapter and Central Reform Congregation – the latter being recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation’s 25 most innovative Jewish institutions. Currently, he serves as board president of the Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, strengthening educational opportunities in the region.

What truly sets Scott apart is his dual perspective as both attorney and entrepreneur. He understands firsthand the pressures of building a business, the complexity of strategic decisions, and the importance of practical, results-driven counsel. This combination of legal expertise and entrepreneurial experience makes him more than just an advisor – he becomes a trusted partner in his clients’ journeys toward success.

Scott genuinely cares about his clients, their situations, and their businesses. Scott is certainly a very creative, strategic mind, just as others have indicated, but his authentic appreciation for his clients deserves notice.” – Eliot Frick, bigwidesky

“Scott amazed me from the first time we met! He taught me so much and expanded my experience in the business world while I was Managing Director of my family run company. Scott is an extremely generous and sincere man. (How often can you actually say that about an attorney?  He turns clients into friends, as he has with me because of his compassion & patience and his willingness to give first. He’s brilliantly creative and always gives more value than you would ever predict.” – Aprille Trupiano, Aprille International Enterprises
