Scott seamlessly bridges the worlds of law and entrepreneurship, bringing two decades of experience to his role as founder and managing partner of AEGIS Law. As a practicing attorney, Scott focuses on the crucial elements of business growth, particularly mergers and acquisitions and securities compliance. He often serves as outside general counsel, orchestrating comprehensive legal solutions for his clients’ diverse needs. His approach is distinctly practical, informed by his own experience building and scaling businesses.

Beyond AEGIS Law, Scott co-founded iSelect Fund (www.iSelectFund.com), an innovative venture capital fund that connects promising companies with strategic investors. This venture showcases his commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth beyond traditional legal services.

Scott’s leadership extends deep into the St. Louis community. He is the past president of both the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) St. Louis chapter and Central Reform Congregation – the latter being recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation’s 25 most innovative Jewish institutions. Currently, he serves as board president of the Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, strengthening educational opportunities in the region.

His leadership at Central Reform Congregation as Board President marked a period of significant growth and innovation. Currently serving as Board President of Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, Scott helps guide the institution’s mission of combining academic excellence with Jewish values and social responsibility. Scott’s past board service includes significant contributions to organizations addressing critical social needs. As Board President of Redevelopment Opportunities for Women (ROW), he helped advance programs providing housing and education for women facing homelessness and poverty. His work with St. Louis City CASA (now Voices for Children) supported advocacy efforts for children in the foster care system, ensuring they received essential resources and support.
