Business Law Firm AEGIS Expands with New Headquarters on their 15th Anniversary
New Frontenac location embodies firm’s growth and business philosophy of valuing clients as friends.
AEGIS Professional Services, a well-known law firm in St. Louis representing emerging and established businesses, recently completed a real estate transaction of their own. Owners of the growing and prestigious Clayton-based business law firm decided to purchase, renovate, and move into the highly visible “Fur Centre” at 601 S. Lindbergh in Frontenac. The headquarters location will be the crown jewel of the firm’s offices in St. Louis, O’Fallon, Chicago and Kansas City. Managing Attorney Nicholas Schopp, a practiced hand at guiding commercial real estate and construction transactions, led the transaction team on the 3-story, 12,000 square foot building.
Schopp said, “Our motto is small firm dedication, big firm sophistication and the AEGIS building reflects that. Because we are positioned to continue our strong rate of growth, we decided to increase our physical footprint. Our expanded space will bring us closer to our clients and accommodate recently added professionals such as veteran estate planning attorney Steve Spewak. We’re certain that our new Frontenac headquarters will attract talented business attorneys and staff who desire an alternative to the daily commute to Clayton or downtown.”
Founder and Managing Attorney Scott Levine stated, “It has been a lot of hard work, but the result will be an elegant update to a highly recognizable building. AEGIS is fortunate to have many valued clients who worked hand in hand with us to bring this project to life.”
Noted florist, landscaper, and AEGIS client Walter Knoll commented, “I welcome AEGIS to the community as our newest neighbor. Their real estate expertise helped us open our seventh retail store at 9776 Clayton Road in Ladue, and we couldn’t have done it without their friendship, care, and guidance.”
The building will open in Fall 2017. The top floor has recently been leased to Adam Foster Fine Art Jewelry. A Native St. Louisan and accomplished jewelry designer, Adam Foster, has achieved noteworthy success on both a local and national level. His handcrafted collections debuted at the prestigious Couture Show in Las Vegas this year, resulting in several retail partnerships across the country. Adam Foster Fine Art Jewelry will launch in select Neiman Marcus locations beginning October 2017. According to Foster, “As an expanding brand and a St. Louis-based company, we are looking forward to growing our roots and building our business within the new AF Headquarters.”
