Tommy West is an entrepreneur first, lawyer second. After all, he’s launched more than a dozen businesses and sold four of them. Tommy’s practical experience comes in handy in his legal career, as he brings both depth and breadth of business expertise to every case. He loves helping others, and has served as a mentor at several different startup accelerators.

Tommy’s entrepreneurial spirit serves his clients well. When he sets his sights on a goal, he puts his head down and makes it happen – no matter what. Tommy is also great at seeing the big picture and effectively communicating his vision to others. When he’s not working, Tommy enjoys spending time outdoors. On any given weekend, you can find him mountain biking, skiing, or sailing.

Tommy graduated top of his class in the field of Federal Taxation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2012, having won the coveted Award of Excellence in the Field of Federal Taxation. While at the University of Pittsburgh, he specialized in business and taxation. Tommy also served as an editor of the PJEPHL law journal.

After graduation, Tommy set out to serve his community as an attorney and entrepreneur. In 2014, he was named Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals by Colorado Biz Magazine, authored Senate Bill 14-138, which was later codified as CRS 13-21-113.7, and received a US Senate Letter of Commendation from US Senator Michael Bennet for his legal work serving the greater Boulder-area community.

Tommy has won numerous client accolades, including the Avvo Client’s Choice award, and was even named 40 under 40 by the National Association of Certified Valuators (NACVA) in 2020. Throughout his career, Tommy has been featured for his work in a variety of publications, including 5280, Daily Camera, Forbes, and more.
