We are pleased to announce that Margy Weisman has joined AEGIS law’s growing mergers, acquisitions and corporate practice. Margy has joined our growing St. Louis, Missouri practice.
Margy is a strategic, business-oriented corporate legal leader and CPA with outstanding experience in creative problem solving and proactive legal strategy. She specializes in helping businesses in matters related to mergers, acquisitions & divestitures, regulatory compliance, commercial leasing, real estate and construction contracts, commercial contracts, supply chain management, employment matters, litigation management, international law, licensing, and intellectual property.
Margy is passionate about helping businesses grow strategically and successfully. So she dedicates herself to becoming a trusted advisor for the long haul. After spending the first several years of her career at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Margy went “in-house”, where she spent more than 25 years serving as Assistant General Counsel for a $1 Billion global manufacturing company, Assistant General Counsel for a $2 Billion domestic manufacturer, and as Senior Attorney for a Global Telecommunications company. In those roles, she assisted each company in all aspects of their businesses and served as a key member of each management team responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of complex commercial contracts, handling regulatory matters, overseeing litigation , providing ongoing employee training and support, and ensuring appropriate governance.
